Skin Care Review: Strivectin SD Eye Cream
|
by Lee, New York City, NY
Rating No effect
Benefits
moisturizer
Drawbacks
expensive: $59/1.3 oz. Used twice daily (sparingly), maybe supply could last 1 month.
Details I'm 50, with deep frown lines in my forehead, but fine lines around my eyes and lips. I'd read great reviews about Strivectin Eye Cream (which apparently has the same basic formula as the popular body lotion, but without some oils that can be irritating to the more sensitive skin around the eyes).
In the store, I tried the lotion around my eyes and lips, and even with 1 application, it seemed to slightly minimize the lines, and so I bought it.
However, since trying it at home, I find that none of these effects last more than 30-40 minutes. It may be a slightly superior moisturizer, but with such short-lived effects, and no other long-term effects seen over time, it's definitely not worth the expense.
Conclusions
Save your money.
