Skin Care Review: Laser Surgery Beneath the Eyes
|
by Bobbi Brinsko, Houston, TX US
I was 46 years old and had laser surgery performed beneath my eyes for wrinkles. Please, please, be careful and talk to your doctor about the outcomes before undergoing the procedure. Though it worked well getting rid of wrinkles, I have a new problem with looking like a racoon. The circles under my eyes show up pretty white, now. It has been a year and a half since the surgery. The pigmentation (I guess) has been altered. You can tell, when looking at me, that the color of the skin beneath my eyes is now different (whiter) from the rest of my face's skin color. I feel like I look like a racoon, unless, I cover up with make up. By the way, I have never been one to use foundation. Once I realized that my skin, now, really needed something, I began applying foundation. I was not happy with the textures and thickness of the foundations that I had tried, until recently. I recently began using Mary Kay foundation and have found it to apply much smoother and look more natural than the others that I have tried. I am definitely not a Mary Kay representative, just a satisfied user.
