Skin Care Review: Perricone Facial contour
|
by Patty P., Bellingham, WA US
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
Nothing noticeable
Drawbacks
Caused pimples
Details Dr. Perricone is so convincing about the value of neuropeptides for skin rejuvenation in his book, that I overcame my good sense and dropped a bundle (even at a discounted price) to try it out. When I began to use it once a day, I developed several deep, painful pimples, so I have spaced out my usage to once every 3 days and have less problem with that now. However, half a tube later I have yet to notice any benefits. I'm going to finish the tube dreaming that the results are just around the corner. However, I don't believe I'll be buying this product again. Oh, plus it stinks.--literally. (and possibly figuratively)
Conclusions
It's expensive, ineffective and comedogenic (clogs pores, causes pimples.)
Price (paid by reviewer) $140
