Details NOVADIOL was introduced around 2003 as a treatment against sagging skin as a result of hormonal depletion. (It contained phytoestrogens.) As such, it was marketed "for women over 50". I was well under fifty at the time, but I tried it because I suspected that my hormonal levels were lower than they should be; I also bought one for my mother. From the first application, I did notice my skin was visibly "plumper". My mother noticed the same on herself (and it did show). Also, as with all Vichy products, it had a very good effect on the texture of the skin; the pores were minimised, the skin had a silky feel and look to it. It certainly proved to be much more effective than any of the much more expensive concoctions available on the market that I had tried. Unfortunately, the cream has been recently discontinued and replaced by NEOVADIOL, a supposedly "improved" version of the old formula. (In my experience, the new version doesn't work. I certainly wouldn't spend money on it, whereas I was only too glad to purchase Novadiol.)
