Skin Care Review: Thermage
|
by Pam Smith
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
The process didn't reguire surgery and there wasn't any down time.
Drawbacks
This process can burn up the fat in the face.
Details I had thermage about five years ago. I was 48 and beginning to have some sag in the lower jowl area. The cost of the procedure was about 1800 dollars. I had only the lower part of my face and neck done. The procedure took about 45 minutes and although I had something for pain I remember feeling a lot of pain with it. My results were very disappointing. I knew that it would take three months to have any results but at the end of the three months nothing had really changed. My saggy jowls were still there and I had discoloration of the skin that I hadn't had before.
Conclusions
I would not recommend this procedure to anyone.
