Skin Care Review: Thermage

Rating Good
Benefits
It has only been a week, but my skin looks "brighter" and I look less tired.
Drawbacks
This procedure was expensive.
Details I am a 56 year old woman. I wanted a nonsurgical procedure to improve the "sag" in the lower half of my face. The procedure took 2.5 hours, and was a little painful at the time, even with pre-procedure valium and vicodan. It felt like pinpricks. Afterwards, my skin felt a little tight and sore, but essentially there were no negative after-effects. Improvement is supposed to occur over several weeks, but after only a few days I notice I definitely look less tired, particularly around the eyes and cheeks. My "marionnette" lines have improved a little, but not as much as I hoped for. Perhaps there will be greater improvement over the next few weeks. I had my procedure done by a well respected plastic surgeon.
Conclusions
Yes, it is expensive for what you get, but so far I am very happy with my results.
Price (paid by reviewer) $2200.00
