Skin Care Review: Glyquin
|
by Jennifer Byrne, Evanston, IL usa
Rating Satisfactory
Benefits
Helps bleach melasma. You can use it day or night. It does have some sun screen.
Drawbacks
It leaves a residue on your skin.
Details I was prescibed Glyquin as part of a treatment plan for moderate melasma on my face. I would use the Glyquin in the morning and then use Tri-Luma at night. I purchased the cream at my dermatologist's office.
I was so disappointed with the product. It left a sticky residue on my skin and my hair would stick to my face. I even tried using as little as possible but I still could not stand having it on my face. I purchased it before I tried my sample and I could not return it, so I was stuck with a whole jar. The only option for me was to use it at night and use something else in the morning.
As for it's skin lighting ability, I am not convinced that it is the best option in a treatment plan.
Conclusions
I think it's cons outway any benefits.
