Details My dermatologist gave me a sample to try and I had no adverse reaction. I thought that the cream absorbed quickly and I had ho irritation. It is my understanding that the corticosteroid helps eliminate any irritation from the Retin-A and has some bleaching ability. However, I read the drug warnings and I did not like the corticosteroid warnings. I was reassured by my dermatologist that it was safe, but I still felt uneasy. I personally decided to stop using the Tri-Luma after 4 weeks and use Lustra Af instead. I did not want to take my chances when there were other products available. My melasma is improving.
