Skin Care Review: Obagi fade cream
|
by Justine Greenwald
Rating Good
Benefits
reverse sun damage, freckles hyperpigmentation, improve pore size
Drawbacks
contains hydroquinone- possible carcinogen
Details This product really works and took my hyperpigmentation away in about 2 months. My family members noticed no more freckles. My freckles never really bothered me but they do pose a threat for cancer (my derm indicated).
Although the product did perform, after doing some research, I realized that this product contains high levels of hydroquinone which is outlawed in other countries because of the carcinogenic effects (even topically) I stopped using this product because I figured I would rather have hyperpigmentation than cancer! I don't think it is discussed/advertised and people are not notified that this is a harmful ingredient and not worth it!
Conclusions
better to have hyperpigmentation than cancer
Price (paid by reviewer) 60-80
