I'm a 53 year old woman and recently had a full face CO2 laser procedure. Five years ago I had the area around my eyes done, and my skin was red for months afterwards. In the case of my eyes, it was not terribly difficult to cover the redness with makeup. At the time, I had decided never to do a full face laser because of the problem with redness.

Well, five years later, I changed my mind, and had my full face done six weeks a go. After consulting with my plastic surgeon, I bought a tube of laserfade, which is specifically formulated for dealing with the redness after laser resurfacing. I've been using it as instructed for three weeks, along with lubriderm as a moisturizer, and Jane Iredale makeup. I really feel that the laserfade has helped substantially.

I went in for a post op checkup with my doctor today, and he and the staff were very impressed with how much the facial redness had already dissippated. My doctor asked for the info on the product, and is planning to try it on some of his next patients.

Even though the product seems to work very well, keep it mind that it will still take several weeks, and the redness just doesn't disappear overnight.

Conclusions
I believe laserfade is an excellent product, and significantly reduces redness.
