Skin Care Review:Aveeno Active Naturals Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion

Details
I’ve had the privilege of testing the Positively Radiant Moisturizer and the Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion, as I was also selected to be part of the Aveeno Discoverer Programme. Yes I was given free samples to try – but I can tell you honestly they are working for me! I had, what is best described, as rather dry, itchy rough skin on my legs after a ‘summer’ of dog walking in all weather. The dryness of autumn certainly didn’t help the situation. I’ve tried pretty much any product I could find… but after initial success nothing seemed to actually sort out the skin dryness. That’s why I can absolutely recommend the Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion! I’ve talked with a few friends about it, and not surprising I guess, they told me they were sold on this Aveeno Lotion too. What I like about it is t hat it has fixed the dry skin issue – but also it’s lovely to use and easily absorbed into the skin.

Now with my daily dog walking, and – getting older - I’m conscious of making sure my skins protected, and more sun damage minimised! So I’ve been using moisturisers with SPF for some time now and sometimes they don’t work for me as I’ve got combination skin. The Positively Radiant Moisturizer is a lovely light moisturiser that has an SPF of 30. I’m finding it’s working for me – even fixing that dry skin on the top of my cheeks but not too heavy for the oily places around the nose etc. I find it’s absorbed quickly so it’s perfect to wear under makeup. I guess that’s because it’s oil free. I just give it a minute or so between the layers. It seems to just give a good base to the makeup I put on top. I’ve only used it for a couple weeks now so it’s too soon to say if it’s really evening out my skin tone. I’d defiently say it’s brightened the skin and which surely is going to help the skin tone too.

Also thought I should let you know that I’ve previously had issues with stinging, redness etc from using some skin care products. I had no problems at all with these!

Conclusions
Buy it - it works - and I will be in the future too!
