Skin Care Review: Clarins HydraQuench Cream
|
by Anonymous
Rating Good
Benefits
Feels great going on, and provides just the right amount of moisturizer.
Drawbacks
The price is the only drawback of this fine product, as far as I can tell.
Details The Clarins HydraQuench cream for normal to dry skin is absolutely wonderful. It is light, and despite having fragrance listed as an ingredient, has no odor that I detected. Even though it feels so light going on, it also feels perfect, as if my skin was dry from swimming, it would instantly feel "whole" again with the application. I used it once/day. I could have used it twice/day, but my usual ritual was to only apply moisturizer after either a shower or a swim and then shower. I didn't feel that I had to apply it more often either, which means that this cream must have some "staying power" with respect to the moisturizing ingredients it uses. I found I didn't need any anti-aging facial product when using Clarins. My only desire would be for Clarins to manufacture this in the United States as well, to enable it to be sold for a more reaasonable price. The 1.7 oz jar lasted for 8 months, used once/day, which I think is reasonable.
Conclusions
I would not hesitate from recommending this product for women over 50.
Price (paid by reviewer) $48 per 1.7 oz
