Skin Care Review: Dove Essential Nutrients Day Lotion SPF 15
|
by Michelle, Port Clyde, ME US
Rating Satisfactory
Benefits
This lotion is inexpensive and comes in a 4 oz bottle.
Drawbacks
The bottle is hard to open (or close once you have lotion on your hands).
Details I bought the Dove Essential Nutrients SPF 15 Day lotion because it was inexpensive and I was tired of paying a high price for my Neutrogena Face Lotion. While this product satisfactorily mosturizes your face, I find I have to apply it twice throughout the day rather than just once with my old Neutrogena. It has a pleasant light scent and isn't oily like some other lotions. It is a good mosturizer for the summer when it is more humid out but for winter months, expect to apply twice! The bottom line is, it doesn't work as well as the more expensive brands I am used to buying. I guess you get what you pay for!
Conclusions
Go with a brand that specializes in facial lotions.
