Skin Care Review: Lac-Hydrin
|
by SZ, Atlanta, GA, 30306
Rating Excellent
Benefits
Exfoliant and Moisturizer
Drawbacks
Scent, sticky, wet consistency, also mildly irritating to skin.
Details 12% AHA Lotion (Ammonium lactate [neutralized lactic acid 12% w/w]). I had very good moisturizing/exfoliating results, with skin that seemed to have a better texture and was softer after application. "Baby powder/nursery" scent and wet, sticky consistency were key drawbacks. In addition, if left on too long, or when perspiring (e.g., during exercise), it was irritating to sensitive skin. I found night time application (before bed/prior to morning shower) an effective way to avoid irritation.
Conclusions
Excellent moisturizer and exfoliant. Drawbacks: scent, stickiness, mild irritation.
Price (paid by reviewer) $8-12
