Skin Care Review: Philosophy Hope In A Jar
|
by Meredith
Rating Adverse Effects
Benefits
Very smooth, felt nice to apply, makes feet smooth.
Drawbacks
Greasy, smelled bad, clogged pores, bad facial cream.
Details Philosophy's hope in a jar is a horrible moisturizer. I am a 26 year old female with combination dry skin who is worried about aging. I gave in and bought this because of all the hype, but all it did was sit on my skin and make my face EXTREMELY greasy. I only used it on the dry parts of my face and ended up breaking out with tons of whiteheads along my cheeks and jawline. Now my skin looks like a battlefield. Hope in a jar? More like Hell in a jar. What a waste of money. Works better as a foot cream since that is what i now use it for.
Conclusions
I switched to Paula's choice and my skin has been thanking me ever since!
