Details Because the product does not contain any SPF agents, if I use the product during the day, I apply sunscreen also. After using the product for about a year, I’ve noticed a difference in my skin. I have tighter pores and a glowing tone. I’ve tried several other face creams since, and have been unsatisfied. Other treatments are too thin to stay on at night. In addition, the other creams burn and irritate my skin, due to all the additional ingredients, such as fragrance and ‘who know’s what ‘. Ponds dry skin cream is so inexpensive at 5 dollars for a 6.5 ounce jar. The container is plastic, so I don’t worry about broken glass if I travel. I’ve found it most available at WalMart. On a recent shopping trip to Walgreen’s, the product was not available. I am concerned that the low price might be driving potential purchasers. We get so used to high priced products, the lower priced products make us question the effectiveness of the product. The best feature of the product is the ease with which it can be mixed with DMAE. I purchase the liquid version from an online vitamin store. The Ponds is thick enough to be diluted easily, while maintaining its consistency.
