Designed for all skin types, this is an especially good choice for oily skin needing extra moisture but not extra oil. Some products I do more research on than others - I am very particular about what moisturizers and/or treatments I put on my face. Since I have had reactions to certain ingredients and products, and tested many products that simply did not work on my combination skin, I approached Clinique's Moisture Surge Extra with the same trepidation. I needed to get more "balance" in my face - this year has been a weird one for my skin-wise, and things that worked beautifully for me then, do not now. I still had dry patches by the sides of my nose, and yet I also had to watch the extra oil my nose and upper cheeks seemed to be producing.

Conclusions
Those with super dry skin might want to seek elsewhere for extra hydration.
