Skin Care Review: Vbeam laser
|
by Melinda, Thousand Oaks, CA 91361
Rating Excellent
Benefits
I was treated with Vbeam laser for rosacea.
Drawbacks
painful, swelling, can't go in sun
Details My dermatologist treated my rosacea with the laser, I had about 6 treatments and my skin is really improved. I used to have very red blotchy skin and had to wear makeup all the time. After the treatments my skin looks great and doesn't need foundation. As a bonus side effect some acne scars and wrinkles also look less severe. Some of the negative things were swelling after treatment, and the fact that it is painful (I recommend using topical numbing creme with the laser treatment). The dermatologist also recommend that I try to stay out of the sun for at least 3 days after the treatment and wear 30 SPF on my face.
Conclusions
I would recommend laser treatment for rosacea treatment if your insurance covers it.
