Skin Care Review: Strivectin SD Intensive Concentrate for Existing Stretch Marks
|
by Joan Lee
Rating No effect
Benefits
Reduce stretch marks, alter tone & texture and lighten dark spots on the face and body.
Drawbacks
NO affect after using as recommended, 2-3 times a day after cleansing for 3 weeks.
Details I'm 35, just had a baby in January 2008, combinations skin, oily t-zone but dry elsewhere with brown spots at cheeks, product was recommended while browsing skin care items at the department store. The sales associate claims that StriVectin will not only reduce stretch marks but also lighten the dark spots from my pregnancy. I purchase and tried it as told for 3 weeks, I used it for a month, saw no affect, then went to read the fine print. "Not for use by pregnant or nursing woman." I am nursing my baby to this day! How can something be made for stretch marks (common from pregnancy) not be safe to use for pregnant and nursing mothers! I am very upset at this, mislead to buying it without the right info, and cannot return it now since I have no receipt, packaging and I've already used some of it.
Conclusions
Don't trust sales associates, read the fine print, research the products first.
