Skin Care Review: Puritan's Pride Retinol Cream
|
by jai
Rating Good
Benefits
Relieves and prevents dry skin on face.
Drawbacks
Slight reddening of the skin, which, however, doesn't last all that long.
Details I have suffered with acne (primarily rosacea) all my life. For a while it seemed to be getting better, but now in my later years it seems to be getting worse again. I've tried many different production, all with no or marginal results. But this retinol cream seems to be doing some good. After an initial period of reddening, which lasts only a short while, it reduces the overall reddening of my skin, and it relieves my dry and flaky skin until I wash my face again, unlike most other products I've used that seem to need to be applied every few hours. In addition, it seems to be getting beneath the surface of the skin and dissolving some of the heavy "bumps." I've never before found any product that could do that.
Conclusions
This product has done more for my skin problem than anything else I've ever tried.
Price (paid by reviewer) $10.99
