Skin Care Review: Aveda All Sensitive
|
by Kristen, Boulder, CO
Rating Good
Benefits
Comprehensive skin care regimen for sensitive skin
Drawbacks
Not moisturizing enough during cold winter months
Details I disagree with the first reviewers assessment of these products (cleanser, toner, moisturizer). I have extremely sensitive skin and live in a dry environment (Colorado); this is one of the few sensitive skin systems that I feel cleanses my skin well, without leaving a residue and without sucking all the moisture from my face. The toner is refreshing, and the moisturizer is quickly absorbed. I also disagree that the cleanser is an expensive version of Cetaphil. I have tried Cetaphil, my face stung every time I used it, and an odd residue was left behind; this is probably due to the fact that Cetaphil uses petroleum based ingredients rather than Aveda's plant derived ones.
Conclusions
I recommend this line to anyone requiring simple, gentle, and effective cleansing.
