Skin Care Review: La Roche Posay Anthelios Dermo-Pediatrics
|
by ewel, kraków, poland
Rating Excellent
Benefits
for sensitive skin
Drawbacks
leaves a slight white cast
Details I have tried just about every sunscreen I could get my hands on for the last 15 years, and this is BY FAR the best. I have slightly oily, acne-prone skin that is sensitive and prone to redness. This goes on as a light liquid, then dries matte. It looks white when it first goes on, but after it dries I don"t notice it looking too white. It doesn"t break me out, which is like a miracle. Every other sunscreen I have tried breaks me out, so I was expecting this one to and was pleasantly surprised when it didn"t. This doesn"t burn or make my face red like most chemical sunscreens do, and it doesn"t smother my skin like physical sunscreens do. It is easy to remove. I don"t wear makeup over it so I can"t speak to how it wears under makeup. I also have trouble with the sprayer sometimes but I think it might be from not pushing the pump straight down, because if I fiddle with it, it clears up
Conclusions
I am so happy to find a high SPF, high PPD sunscreen that I actually like to wear
