Diet Tip: Foods you should eat every week

submitted by A. Olberg, Evanston, IL

Including the following foods in your diet - as frequently as possible - will yield you immediate and noticeable improvements in your overall health, weight, skin, and mood!

Protein: Wild salmon; Tofu; Shrimp and scallops; plain non-fat yogurt.

Vegetables: Kale; Swiss Chard; Collards; Spinach; Cooked tomatoes; Broccoli; Asparagus; Colored bell peppers; Mushrooms; Onions and garlic; Carrots

Fruits: Blueberries; raspberries; black raspberries; blackberries; strawberries; cantaloupe; Beans, Nuts, and Seeds; Black and red beans (anti-oxidant powerhouses!); Walnuts, almonds; Sunflower seeds (THE best source of Vitamin E around!)

Even having 1200 calories of these foods per day (the absolute lowest if you should go for serious weight-loss) will actually exceed every single vitamin and nutrient requirement you have, not to mention providing 20-40 grams of fiber. Now that is a nutritionally dense diet!!

This is actually a super short version of the Worlds Healthiest Foods -- check out www.worldshealthiestfoods.com -- it has become my favorite reference for nutrition over the past few years.
