Fitness Tip: Facial exercises

submitted by Anonymous

Plastic surgeons will tell you facial exercises won't stop the sagging of facial muscles, but it's not true. Why would other MDs tell you to do your kegels to prevent bladder incontinence? These tiny muscles do respond -- the only key is that it must be done daily, and often. Exercising facial muscles requires no costs, no equipment, no membership, no supplies, although moisturizer is a good idea. Facial exercises can be done while reading, typing, cooking or driving. One exercise for the chin is to say "Apples" while jutting the chin forward - hold for 10 seconds, repeat 10X. Do this 10X/day. See results first results in one week. Many more exercises are available. Just like kegels, these must be done for life. Aerobics are good for the face also -- as the oxygenation and fat loss improve skin and muscle fitness. My sagging chin lifted slightly in one week, but more dramatically at about 1 month.
