To really pump up your workout effectiveness try adding high-intensity sprints. Known as "HIIT" or high intensity interval training, it really burns off the fat. Whether you are running, biking, or stepping, start adding 30 seconds to 60 seconds of all out sprints. That's right, as fast and hard as you can. Slow it back down until your heartbeat is back to its normal workout rate and then start it again. I guarantee you will see a nice drop in your body fat percentages within the month. I have reduced the amount of time I need to spend on aerobic conditioning and have dropped 5% body fat in two months with no other changes to my routine or diet.
