Hair Care Tip: Shiny hair

submitted by Anonymous

Tip description / details:
After shampooing and conditioning, I rub a tiny little blob of conditioner (about the size of a pea -- I have chin-length hair) onto my towel-dried hair, using my fingers, then style/blow-dry as usual. Makes hair supple and shiny. (Don't use too much thou -- it'll make your hair look greasy.) I have also boosted my shine through 2 things: a daily dose of organic unpasteurized apple cider vinegar (in a glass of water -- you get used to the taste); and coloring my hair with henna. Henna is not for everyone (not everyone wants red hair); but I have been using it for over a year now and people are constantly complimenting me on my hair's color and shine. Note: apple cider vinegar also apparently helps with hair loss.
