Hair Care Tip: Shining hair

Tip description / details:
Removing hair build-up Once a week, I add a teaspoon of general household cleanser(like Handy Andy in South Africa, contains 1% ammonia) to my shampoo to remove build-up from conditioners and styling lotions. I have been doing this for years, and it has never damaged my hair, leaving it with a beautiful shine.

Ingredients:
General household cleanser, containing 1% ammonia

How to prepare:
Mix 1 teaspoon with shampoo.

How to use:
Apply to hair once a week, or when hair looks dull and lifeless

Results (observed by submitter):
Beautiful shining hair

Costs involved:
a few cents
