I use essential oils to relax me when going to sleep. Dab some Lavender oil on your spine and temples. It's also important to inhale it, just inhaling the oils has a very beneficial effect. Chamomile oil or Marjoram oil dispensed in the room or just inhaled is also very soothing. Sandalwood or Cedarwood has a beautiful grounding aroma and when placed on the forehead is very calming. You can also make a bath using 1/2 cup bath salts, 10 drops Geranium or Lavender oil and soak before sleep. Make sure to buy high quality essential oils that actually have the chemical ingredients that are healing.
