When I get a stubborn zit that refuses to come to a head - or any time I want to kill something smaller, I dab a little bit of regular Crest brand toothpaste over it and let it dry (but not longer than 10 minutes), then wipe the toothpaste off my skin with a warm washcloth and swab over the spot with some witch hazel...or a dab of alcohol, if the situation is really dire. Generally, by the next day, if it was a smaller zit, it's practically gone, and if it was a large red welt of a zit, it will finally come to a head; another day or two of treatment, and it dries up, lickety-split. I totally swear by it and find it about a million times more effective than spot treatments like Clearasil.
