Skin Care Tip: Skin care while on Roaccutane/Accutane

Tip description / details: I am a Roaccutane success story and wish to advise others that if you have moderate to severe acne then please ask to see a dermatologist and discuss this medication.
It does indeed have its pitfalls and should be carefully considered but I have only had the dry lips and redness
associated as side effects of the drug.
Skincare when on Roaccutane should involve gentle cleansing in the evening only, followed by the application of a light oil free moisturizer (at beginning of treatment when the spots are still bad) and ending with something soothing and highly nourishing such as Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream.

Once a weekly exfoliation ONLY when spots have cleared not before - you will spread infection, cause yourself pain and look worse,
PATTING in of moisturizers!
Results (observed by submitter): Fantastic. Stick with the drugs and simple, gentle skincare.
