Skin Care Tip: Topical acne treatment
|
submitted by Anonymous
Tip description / details: The only treatment I have tried that makes any improvement to my acne is Freederm, described by the manufacturer as follows.
Freederm is a cooling, translucent, fragrance-free topical gel containing nicotinamide 4%w/w - a proven anti-inflammatory treatment for inflamed acne, pimples and spots in all age groups.
This has hugely accelerated the time it takes for acne to disappear. Normally, each spot can last up to two months and large ones have been visibly shrinking daily with Freederm. If treated before they break the surface of the skin, when they are still deep, new acne spots do not come up into large spots and go away very rapidly by comparison with normal.
Ingredients: Nicotinamide 4%, Aluminium Magnesium Silicate, Hypromellose, Citric Acid, Polyoxyethylene Lauryl Ether, Purified Water.
How to prepare:
How to use: Twice daily application
Results (observed by submitter): The best improvement in new/still under the skin acne and existing large acne spots I have had with any treatment, including Retina and Benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, clindamycin, Duac gel, Doxycylcine. I love this product - it works for me.
Costs involved: $15
