Skin Care Tip: How to use copper peptides effectively and at low cost
|
submitted by Carolyn, Atlanta, GA USA
Tip description / details: You have to be careful with copper peptides. If you see any sagging at all while beginning their use, discontinue the use of the product for a few of days. When resuming use, only use copper peptides every other day, and always dilute the product with water. This will continue the collagen synthesis in your skin while diminishing the effects of metalloproteinases that are produced when using the copper peptides. (If copper peptides aren't for you, then you can try alpha-hydroxy products that are at least 10% in concentration.) One good inexpensive copper peptide product I found is Neutrogena Active Copper. When you dilute it with water during use, the cost is lowered even further.
Ingredients: Water, Neutrogena Active Copper or another copper peptide product
How to prepare: Use a couple of drops of the copper peptide cream with four drops of water. Mix in your hand before applying to your face.
How to use: Barely coat the parts of your skin that reacted with sagging after copper peptide use.
Results (observed by submitter): My skin became a lot firmer after the initial sagging.
Costs involved: low
