I am 67 years old, and continually get complemented on my skin. My skin was virtually flawless and smooth until about five years ago, when I started to develop fine lines on my cheeks. Since I was in my twenties, I made sure never to wash my face with soap (which was the typical procedure back then). I have always used the gentlest product I could find to cleanse my face, and then I cleanse with a product only if I have been wearing make-up. Otherwise, I just cleanse my face only with tepid water (assuming I have not been doing heavy housework or gardening during the day). Even though my skin has been quite dry on my cheeks for the past twenty years, I believe that cleansing my face only with tepid water is what has kept away any wrinkles. In the morning, I also cleanse my face with only tepid water. I always apply moisturizer after cleansing, while my skin is still slightly damp. I never go out of the house without using a sunscreen first. My best make-up tip is to put some kind of cream product under your eyes just before you apply concealer to undereye circles. Pat on the concealer, and it will melt in and disappear. I use a magnifying mirror to check my make-up/skin and nothing looks worse then raccoon eyes. I had flawless skin until my early sixties, and now at age 67, I have virtually no crows feet and only very few fine lines on my cheeks.
