Skin Care Tip: Quick keratosis pilaris treatment

submitted by Lonnie Galyean, Saint Maries, ID USA

Tip description / details:
I'd been fighting these bumps on the backs of my arms with alpha hydroxyl acids and daily scrubbing with less than perfect results. If I got busy and skipped the regimen for even a couple of days, I was back to where I started. One day, while perusing new products to try, it occurred to me that salt scrubs + papaya enzyme = meat tenderizer. Feeling somewhat sheepish, I gave it a try and it worked!

Ingredients:
One small shaker jar of meat tenderizer. Use the really plain stuff; no herbs or smoke flavoring.

How to prepare:
No special preparation required.

How to use:
Wet your arms, sprinkle on wet hands and scrub very lightly. Keep it as wet as you can without dripping. The longer it can work on your skin, the better.

Results (observed by submitter):
I've gotten "as good as" results with other methods, but none cheaper or faster

Costs involved:
usually $2-$4
