Skin Care Tip: Baking soda scrub
|
submitted by Julie Williams
Tip description / details: For an easy, inexpensive exfoliant, I like to combine equal parts baking soda and a gentle face lotion or cleanser. Using a circular motion, gently scrub face, then rinse and moisturize. I make sure to exfoliate only two to three times a week and always wear a facial sunscreen afterwards.
Ingredients: Baking soda (1 tablespoon), gentle facial cleanser, or lotion
How to prepare: Mix the ingredients in hand
How to use: Using a circular motion, apply to face and gently scrub. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Results (observed by submitter): My face was smoother, softer, more even toned with no irritation. Great for sensitive skin types.
