Skin Care Tip: Exfoliation of Facial Skin

submitted by Cecelia Peeples, Cumming, GA USA

Tip description / details:
I have found that I can exfoliate my facial skin simply by gently rubbing it after washing my face in the shower. There's no need to be rough - the water dampens and loosens the top layer that is ready to be sloughed off and can be removed by simply using a light up and down motion with the fingers. How often this needs to be done depends on the person. In my case, I use Retin-A Micro daily, so that may be why I get results with this procedure daily also. The Retin-A Micro may be causing the skin to peel more rapidly than it would otherwise.
