Skin Care Tip: Lemon juice as exfoliant

submitted by Anonymous

Tip description / details:
Lemons brighten and exfoliate skin

Ingredients:
The only ingredient in this skin care "recipe" is one lemon. I have also tried with Lemon juice but recommend the lemon itself.

How to prepare:
Preparation is easy. You can apply lemon juice by slicing the lemon in half & rubbing directly on skin. You can also apply the lemon by squeezing juice into a bowl & applying it with a cotton ball. Use circular motions when applying.

How to use:
Try using a lemon on your face once a week. After washing your face with your usual facial cleanser, apply lemon juice (as mentioned in preparation) to face. Once applied you just rinse off with water. Follow with your regular moisturizer.

Results (observed by submitter):
Skin appeared to be brighter

Costs involved:
household item
