I've discovered that even at the age of 50, skin can be kept soft and smooth. I've tried so many types of skin creams over the years and for a while, nothing seemed to make my skin appear more healthy. After doing a little research, I found that exfoliating your skin and removing the old dead skin cells, the serums and moisturizers had more ability to penetrate deeper into the layers where they could help the skin rejuvenate. Every week, I do an at home peel, mud mask and use a soft scrub with round beads to remove loose dead skin cells. Round beads won't scratch or tear at the skin like scrubs that contain sharp particles. My skin now is as smooth as glass and makeup glides on smoothly and evenly. Be sure to give your skin at least a day or two to rest before doing another exfoliation. I will do the peel on one day, a mud mask two days later, and a good scrub two days after that. It's not a good idea to use all three methods at once. I think it would be too irritating to the skin. I hope you'll give this method a try if you're looking to have smooth, glowing skin. I'm really happy to find that at 50 it is possible to have smooth skin! After the first exfoliation you should notice an improvement in the skin's appearance. After a month you will love the results!
