Skin Care Tip: Water as moisturizer

I have found that if a put a light film of water on my face prior to applying moisturizer, it is absorbed more quickly and my face stays moist longer. This is especially important in the dry climate of Nevada, which receives approximately 7" of rainfall per year, where I live. In the same vein, I have found it is also important and effective to apply moisturizer all over the body immediately upon getting out of the shower to help seal in the water that has been absorbed during the shower. Skin should be barely patted dry, then you apply the moisturizer.
