Skin Care Tip: Moisturizing sunblock
|
submitted by Anonymous
Tip description / details: You can but a moisturizing sunblock at any store, but it's usually very expensive. After looking at the ingredients, I realized that the main difference was that the moisturizing sunblocks contained Glycerin. So I just bought some plain Glycerin (Walgreens sells it for $2.99), and added a little to my regular Sun Block! The exact proportions are up to you, but you want to make sure you start with at least an SPF 30 lotion, because you're going to be diluting it slightly.
Ingredients: Plain 100% Glycerin, SPF 30 or higher, Sun Block
How to prepare: Mix a little Glycerin into regular Sun Block.
How to use: Apply to face and hands.
Results (observed by submitter): Moisturizer and Sun Block.
