Skin Care Tip: Soft, smooth skin for pennies with petroleum jelly (Vaseline)

Contrary to popular belief petroleum jelly (Vaseline) is a fantastic, low cost alternative to body creams and/or face moisturizers. I discovered this when I was younger and did not have money to buy any face or body creams. To smooth skin and get rid of rough patches apply Vaseline after a shower. Works well on rough feet, just put socks on and by the time you take them off at night your skin is baby smooth. Also, apply to face before bed in lieu of a moisturizer. Vaseline is non-comedogenic and will not cause breakouts. I have combination skin that is prone to break outs and never while using Vaseline have I encountered a pimple. My skin is so soft, without flakiness or dry patches.
