Skin Care Tip: Body moisturizing w/o the lotion
|
submitted by Julian Ferrarese, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Tip description / details: One of the best practices I have and one that has led to amazing results is right in front of most people's noses: baby oil. I keep a spray bottle full of baby oil in the shower (my favorite is J&J Aloe & Vitamin E). After I'm done shower and when I'm still wet, I spray a bit of oil all over my body and spread it quickly out. No need to rub in. Dry off as usual (preferably no hard rubbing of towels). Used consistently you will not need lotion - the baby oil traps in the moisture from the water in the skin but also because of the water doesn't leave you tacky or oily afterwards. It's a true keeper. If you are extremely dry, you could use a lotion afterwards but this really leaves your body lotion optional.
Ingredients: Baby oil - any brand & spray bottle or spray top you can twist onto the original baby oil bottle
How to prepare:
How to use: Spray over wet skin before drying off. Gently spread/massage over body. No rubbing necessary.
Results (observed by submitter): Baby soft skin. Lotion optional.
Costs involved: Minimal, approx. $ 3-5 for 20 fl oz
