Skin Care Tip: Skin care routine after 30
|
submitted by Renee Scott, CA usa
Tip description / details: Daily skin care is essential once I've reached my 30's. Daily routine with basics are easy and work just as well (I have found) then the expensive elixirs found in stores.
Cleansing with a mild soap, and toning with whatever toner is on sale is what I do. Then, is the exfoliating with baking soda and a sponge (I also brush my teeth with baking soda for whitening). Then I moisturize/ put on sunscreen before applying makeup during the day.
At night, before moisturizing, twice a week I mix up vitamin C (powder form) with a little water to make a paste and then apply to eye area for 15 minutes. Rinse and apply moisturizer. I really have seen a difference over the past 6 weeks.
Ingredients: Two teaspoons vitamin C powder. One teaspoon of water to make thick paste for eyes. Double amount for other areas on the
face.
How to prepare: Mix powder and water to make paste that doesn't run down face. You want it to "stick".
How to use: I use an ice cream stick to stir and apply under the eye.
Results (observed by submitter): Firmer, more rejuvenated skin at minimal cost.
Costs involved: $9.99
