Skin Care Tip: Once a week steam

submitted by Michele, Kansas City, MO USA

Tip description / details:
Once a week, I steam my face for five minutes to open my pores. Boil water, add a drop of essential oil of your choice, and then remove it from the stove. Place a towel over head to create a "tent" shield to keep the steam in the towel. Allow steam to reach your face so that it just feels warm, for about five minutes. Follow with a clay mask.

Ingredients:

How to prepare:
Simply boil water in a large pot. Remove the water from the stove and allow the steam to reach your face for about five minutes.

How to use:
When the water is boiling, add a couple drops of your favorite essential oil. Follow steaming with a gentle clay mask, such as Oracle Organics Bloom Mask.

Results (observed by submitter):
Results are great. Skin feels softer and ready for a mask treatment.

Costs involved:
None
