Skin Care Tip: Weekly beauty treatment for face and neck

Tip description / details: Before starting with any beauty treatments, one should always take a steam treatment as it opens up the pores and allows the beneficial effects of any kind of following treatments to be readily absorbed into the skin. Following the steam treatment, one should start with mild scrubbing for which used green tea leaves are preferred as they are gentle and provide the benefits of green tea. Rinse with warm water after the exfoliation. Now, prepare a face mask by mixing gram flour, turmeric, sandalwood paste, rose petals, orange rind(ground), lemon juice, honey, glycerin, almond oil, coconut oil, whole milk, yogurt. Any other ingredient can also be added but not egg preferably. In case of allergies or skin reactions to any particular ingredient, it can be left out. Apply the mask and wait till it dries off completely. The mask may take a long time to dry because of yogurt but its worth the wait. In the mean time you wait for the mask to dry up, you can apply cold green tea bags on the eyes and relax. Once the mask dries, remove it gently by massaging, preferably with milk followed by water. Your eyes and skin will feel rejuvenated. Follow the routine every week or once in two weeks. Alongside, you can also drink warm water(not boiling) with freshly squeezed lemon juice every morning. Drink green tea regularly to get the benefits of anti-oxidants.
Ingredients: boiling water, green tea bags, gram flour, turmeric, sandalwood paste, rose petals, orange rind(ground), lemon juice, honey, glycerin, almond oil, coconut oil, whole milk, yogurt
How to prepare: Mix all the ingredients as directed above.
How to use: Apply a thick paste on the face and neck and wait till it dries off completely.
Results (observed by submitter): Squeaky clean, brightened and clear face. On regular use, skin will look more young and rejuvenated.
