Don't rub your eyes! It really does cause wrinkles. If you tend to, or need to, rub your eyes, keep a little jar of eye cream with you at all times and dot it on before you rub - and do it gently. A cosmetic professional told me that many years ago and I've always stuck to it, and I don't have many wrinkles at age 51. Now it's best to avoid rubbing at all. Also, if you rub, do it gently and outwardly. Also, use a make-up brush to apply make-up in the eye area because it's much more gentle than your finger or a sponge. You can use the make-up brush to smooth eye cream on as well, and blend it. Since Make-up tends to settle in eye-wrinkles, mix your eye cream with your make-up to minimize the settling. Your wrinkles won't show nearly as much!
