Homemade Skin Care Recipe: Reducing wrinkles via shaving
|
submitted by Tim Washu, St. louis, MO USA
Tip description / details: This may sound archaic or simplistic, but I have noticed significant wrinkle reduction by shaving around my eyes and forehead, much like shaving the upper lip and chin areas. Every morning, I apply a nice lotion with vitamins and other beneficial ingredients to my whole face. Keeping very careful of the eyes, I gently "shave" my whole face, especially around my forehead and eyes, where the wrinkles are the worst. After about two weeks of this, I have noticed considerable wrinkle reduction. It sounds crazy, but it really works. At the very least, it appears to remove the dead, or outermost surface area of the targeted skin.
Ingredients: There are no special ingredients, except for a good skin lotion (not a shaving lotion or gel) and a very good shaver (not electric).
How to prepare: No special preparations, except to wash the face really good with Dove soap, preferably their Exfoliant soap, and make sure there is adequate lotion on all areas of the skin that is targeted for wrinkle reduction.
How to use: Wash the face real well with a good soap, like Dove Exfoliant soap. Then carefully shave the whole face gently, avoiding close contact with the eyes.
Results (observed by submitter): In about two weeks, I noticed significant wrinkle reduction.
Costs involved: none
