Skin Care Tip: Scrub it Young Again
|
submitted by Stacy Chapman, Houston, TX USA
Tip description / details: I have learned that keeping the exterior of my skin exfoliated has really helped in improved texture, softness and wrinkle reduction. Some of the products on the market are way to abrasive to be used on the face. I have found that using ones that are much finer produce much better results and much quicker with less recovery time from redness.
Ingredients: Arm and Hammer Baking Soda in Yellow box and Sea salt.
How to prepare: Take a small cup and mix a teaspoon of Baking Soda and 1/2 teaspoon of Sea Salt.
How to use: I cleanse my face using plenty of water to soften the skin and get it prepared for exfoliation. Mix the Baking soda and Sea salt together in bowl. Dip wet fingertips into bowl and then apply mixture to face. GENTLY use circular motions all over the face, neck and chest area for about 2 minutes each section. Rinse with water.
Results (observed by submitter): The Baking Soda acts as a "polisher" while the sea salt removes more "topically". As it is rubbed into the skin it diminishes in size and each grain of salt get smoother and starts to act like a polisher also. The results are baby smooth skin with a definite glow once the redness wears off in a few minutes.
Costs involved: $5.00
