Homemade Skin Care Recipe: Soften your hands with sugar and vinegar
|
submitted by sally, Mill Valley , CA USA
Tip description / details: Want hands that are incredibly soft - without costing a fortune! I heard about this on a web site about vinegar so thought I'd give it a try. Take ordinary white vinegar and splash it over your hands leaving a little in the palm of one hand then shake some ordinary white sugar into the vinegar and wash your hands with this mixture, much the way a surgeon would "scrub" before surgery. Keep washing, scrubbing for about 3 minutes or so, then rinse off with plain water. Your hands will LOVE you - so soft and smooth. The cost? Almost nothing! I usually follow up with a moisturizer afterwards.
Ingredients: white vinegar - a large bottle is only a couple of dollars.
white sugar - 5 lbs is only a couple of dollars as well. This should last a lifetime of soft hands.
How to prepare: splash on the vinegar and shake on the sugar - that's it
How to use: wash / scrub your hands for about 3 minutes in the kitchen sink. Rinse off with plain water.
Results (observed by submitter): Incredibly soft hands
Costs involved: almost free!
