Homemade Skin Care Recipe: Natural Scrub
|
submitted by Gina McNevin, Stirling, Canada
Tip description / details: This is a quick scrub you can mix up in minutes if you have run out of your favorite brand (Caution: this may become your favorite)
Ingredients: Honey & White Sugar
How to prepare: I like to empty 2 packets of white sugar in to a small bowl and add enough honey to may a paste. Add more or less honey on how abrasive you would like the scrub.
How to use: Dampen your hands and face with a little warm water. Scoop some scrub up with your fingers and gently massage on to areas that you would like to exfoliate. Be careful with ANY exfoliation over any spider veins on face as this can make them more prominent. Rinse off with warm water.
Results (observed by submitter): I love this quick fix when i run out of my regular scrub. I also enjoy this one in the bath tub as it ALL disolves in the bath water and doesn't leave ANY gritty residue.
Costs involved: pennies
